DENISE'S COOKING TIPS
Do you know what to do with days old stale bread? Don't think about throwing it away...
Here are some delicious ideas.
First, we can make croutons. Cut the bread into cubes.
Sprinkle some oil or butter on them and place them in the oven until they're toasted.
Later, store them in the freezer until you're ready to use them,
then, simply put them in the oven for a short time and serve them.
Croutons are perfect on salads and soups.
Another option: bread crumbs.
Slice the bread and put it in the oven.
Once toasted, place it in the food processor until it's fully grinded.
Bread crumbs can be kept in the freezer.
Crumbs are great for breading any type of meat or foul and,
of course, for making those croquette that I like so much.
If we talk about desserts, stale bread is great for making bread pudding.
