You walk into a nursing home and you see your loved one,
appears to be dirty and not bathed
and the nursing home appears to be dirty and
smells. What does that mean in relation
to the care that your loved one is receiving? I'm James
Kapralos, an attorney at Parker Waichman. Many times this has a
meaning that the nursing home is providing bad care to your loved
one and these are signs of bad care. Other signs of bad care
are when you see nurses and aides running around as if they
don't know where to go or if they're very busy. Other signs
of bad care is when you visit your loved one and you ask for
help and they're unable to provide help for you because
they just have too many things to do. Another sign of bad care
is unexplained injuries or the development of bed sores. These
types of things should not happen at a nursing home. If you
find yourself in this situation where your loved one appears
unkempt, has injuries, or the nursing home appears unkempt and
dirty, give me a call because I handle these types of cases all
the time. I'm James Kapralos from Parker Waichman and thank
you for watching this video.
