In this video I'll show you how to fit Vinyl shutters onto a Kitchen window.
Lift the assembled frame into the recess so you can mark where to drill your fixing holes,
typically your need holes by each hinge and across the top and bottom of the frame.
I am drilling a 10mm hole first, this is the size of the cover caps supplied, just drill
through the first layer of plastic in the frame.
I am then drilling a 4mm pilot hole for my screw to fit in, this needs to go right though
the frame and any extensions you have.
Lift the frame into the recess, use some wedges to create an even shadow gap between the recess
and frame.
Screw the frame to window.
Lift the shutters into the frame and drop in the hinge pines to secure them into place.
You might need a hammer to tap the pin down.
Make any adjustments required and pop in the cover caps.
Remove the labels and your done.
These are white vinyl shutters with a medium louvre blade, they have a horizontal dividing
rail and central control rod.
