I love education.
Access to education, to me, is incredibly important.
I love that it's the great equalizer in our society.
I love to see people's lives transformed through the power
of education, through the breaking down of barriers and
misconceptions.
I've really enjoyed the chance to get to know a lot about
eastern Kentucky.
It's a really special place, and I hope you
all appreciate that.
I know you do.
The one thing I've come to appreciate during my time on
campus is that if there's a calling card, a hallmark of
EKU, it's that students here feel like they get that
personalized attention from the full time faculty in the
small classes, and we would want to ensure that
experience, promulgate it, enhance it, embrace it as much
as we possibly can.
