I came for the Western tour, I just fell in love with it.
I came on a cloudy, rainy day and I still fell in love with it.
I like the community here, I like the small atmosphere.
Really, the classroom size was my big thing. I'm a very visual learner
so being able to be one-on-one with the teacher really helps me because
it's more interactive and I can see how stuff works and I learn better.
I really like the broadcasting department because they do have a television station on campus
and I can be a part of the news cast. I'm actually a news anchor on the news channel
so this is my third semester doing that and it's a huge opportunity for me to get practice on camera
and stuff. And just being a part of the behind-the-scenes aspect as well.
The library is an absolutely wonderful resource here on campus.
If they don't have it, they can get it.
I actually needed a book for class and they got it from Oklahoma.
They help you out, if you need something you can go ask the reference desk,
and they get you whatever you need, they know where everything is, they're very knowledgeable.
That's probably one of my favorite resources on campus, just having all those materials available.
They have everything from books to movies to music. Just everything.
If you want a school that is academic focused,
if you want small classroom sizes and a great community within the residence halls
and within the overall Macomb community, this is the place for you.
It's an absolutely wonderful school and I love it.
