New York feels like it’s at peace thanks to the work of Mathew Murdock.
But will what Daredevil can’t see end up hurting him?
It’s been a while since I did a review and recap on Daredevil.
So, I’m going to jump back into it here with the start of a new story Land of the
Blind.
Here is what you may need to know to be caught up.
Matt Murdock established a precedence of have super heroes testify in court without revealing
their identity, by having Daredevil take the stand.
Daredevil lost his apprentice, Blindspot.
Who was blinded and sent back to China.
Daredevil notices a calm feeling over the city.
As criminals are scared.
Super heroes not only will beat them up, but can now put them in jail.
It brings him a sense of pride for what he has accomplished.
But Daredevil still does his patrol.
He even watches over Chinatown out of respect for his missing friend.
On this night, he finds a note addressed to him.
It’s from Blindspot and it asks him to come to China.
So, he makes arrangements to fly into China with no aliases, he goes as Matt Murdock.
He has Foggy send over his Daredevil suit.
Because even though it may be a trap Daredevil feels obligated to go.
Once in China, Daredevil wastes no time.
He suits up and goes to the temple mentioned in the note.
Daredevil can hear screams coming from inside.
But before he can go in.
He is caught off guard with an attack from the Hand.
Because the Hand are dead and don’t have heartbeats they are usually able to sneak
up on Daredevil.
But once he is away he takes them down, without holding back.
He defeats most of them until the one that stood back steps forward.
Once Daredevil senses who he is, it’s too late.
Blindspot hits him with his guard down and knocks him out.
Allowing the Hand to take him away.
What does the Hand want with Daredevil?
Can Blindspot be redeemed?
How will Daredevil escape?
These are the questions I have for the next issue.

Charles Soule’s Daredevil has been the best consistent comic at Marvel right now.
And that last story arc Supreme was a major game changer.
Leave it to a lawyer who write comics to change some of the laws in the Marvel Universe.
The art in this book has consistently been great.
I really like this panel that the cover is based off.
I like the landscape.
It makes me feel like Daredevil needs to get out the city more.
I love the color tones in this book.
It’s been the same writer, artist, colorist team on this book since it began.
This is the last story arc of this book until Marvel Legacy starts and the number of this
book will jump from 26, 27, 28, 595.
And when that happens I believe will be getting new artists.
Charles Soule will continue writing.
So we should get the same great stories.
If you have any more questions about Marvel Legacy check out the video popping up in the
top right corner.
