As we know from The Basics of Chinese Philosophy
everything can be divided up into their yin and yang parts
Thus the same applies to the 5 elements
In continuation with the Wood element
we will review the Yin and Yang characteristics of Wood
and then as we move on to the other elements
we will in turn explore the differences between them
in their yin and yang forms
So for wood we have:
JIA - Wood Yang, like strong trees
trying to grow upwards with great determination
and, YI - Wood Yin
like gentle blossoming small bushes or flowers
growing upwards in a polite but uncompromising manner
