TheFNDC.com presents Drinks With Diablo
The German Apple Strudel Cocktail
Alright, welcome back.
This is Jöhnny Dîablø
for Drinks With Diablo
for TheFNDC.com
and today we’re making a drink called
the German Apple Strudel
and you can enjoy this drink anytime
of the year.
Summer, winter, it doesn’t matter.
OK, what you’re going to need:
Some vanilla ***,
and if you don’t have that, just use regular ***. That’s fine.
You’re going to need some apple juice.
You’re going to need a little cinnamon.
And you’re going to need some fresh lime.
And this is a long drink
so it goes in a highball glass.
So, let’s start.
One and a half ounces of ***.
Vanilla ***, specifically.
Four ounces of the lime juice, no, apple juice.
Apple juice, I should say. My bad.
Apple juice.
Add a couple of lime wedges
to the mix.
Maybe we’ll
just squirt a little lime juice in there.
This is just a little teeny tiny wedge.
There we go.
So we’ll throw those lime wedges in there.
Oh wait, a pinch of cinnamon.
You need that.
Pinch.
Okay, that’s a pinch.
Okay, shake it up.
Alright.
It smells apple-y.
Hmm.
Interesting.
Wow. Look at that.
How’s that?
But how’s it taste?
That tastes a LOT like
an apple strudel. It’s like apple pie, or like apple strudel.
But it really does taste like apple strudel.
You’ve got the vanilla and the ***.
It doesn’t even taste like alcohol.
The cinnamon and apple juice,
and this, just a little touch of lime;
It tastes just like strudel.
Mmm!
More of that.
Okay.
