Hello, everyone. Today I'll be explaining how to get custom images on your Sims 3 Exchange
items.
First, you'll need a couple of good screenshots of your item. For this example, I'll be using
one of my houses. You can take screenshots in-game by pressing
C. These will show up in the Screenshots folder of your Sims 3 Folder,
which can be found in Documents.
While you still have The Sims 3 running, click the Share button to package your item. This
step is essential!
When you're done snapping photos, find your screenshots and size them down to 512 by 512
pixels. Save them as PNG files. You can also add captions to your pictures,
if you want.
Now, run the Sims 3 Upload Image Changer. Click Browse, and find the house you want
to upload. Cycle through the pictures and replace the
ones you don't like with the PNG files you made.
The first picture will always be the one that is featured as a thumbnail on the Exchange.
Remember to save when you're done!
After that, open the Sims 3 Launcher and upload your item normally.
When you view it on the Exchange, it will have your custom pictures.
