This tutorial will show you how to search by Title.
Remember the default search setting is Keyword, so to begin you need to change the setting
to Title.
Use the Title search when you know the exact Title of a specific work.
For this example we will search for the book, The Beagle Letters.
When searching by Title, it is not necessary to use the articles “a,” “an,” or
“the.”
You can enter the whole Title or just a part.
There are examples in the TIPS section.
Let’s type in a part of the Title, Beagle, and then click the Submit button.
If the library has many items with the same Title, or the same word in the Title, you
will be taken to a list of items. You can choose the one you want by clicking
on the Title. Let’s type in Beagle Letters, and then click
the Search button. Since there is only one item with that Title,
you will be taken directly into the detailed catalog record for that Title.
To begin another search by Title, click on the Another Search icon located at the top
right of the screen.
