Hi, I'm Amelia and I'm here to talk to you about hairstyles for your face shape. Here's
about, well there's million of face shapes. But they're basically derive from four different
shapes. You've got more of the rectangle or square, you've got the oval, the round and
then the heart shape. So as far as choosing a hairstyle for your face shape, what you're
going to want to do is soften up the angles so that everyone of them appears a little
bit more oval 'cause oval is technically ideal. I disagree with that, but. Anyway, square,
you're going to want to keep your hair covering the angles on the jaw and the wide forehead.
So you can do, if your forehead is long this way, you can also do some bangs, but just
by taking this angles off, that will soften up your, soften up your jawline. Also with
a heart shape face, because of a wide forehead, you're going to want to have something that
comes down across your forehead. The chin is actually quite juvenile looking, so this
is, in Hollywood, a lot of starlets have a heart shape face and it makes them look a
lot younger than they are. So, I wouldn't be concern about trying to cover up your chin
area, I'd be more concern about trying to cover up more of your wide forehead. So you
can do that with bangs, with a side swoop bangs works well with that and you just, you
just going to want to wear your hair severely back. Again with an oval face shape, sometimes
you can't get a little bit heavier down here, so again, you will want hair that's kind of
fringes in a little bit. But as far as an oval face shape, you tend to be a little bit
narrower through the top. So if you do use a ***, you're going to want something more
of a side swoop. You're not going to want a severe, a severe strong line there. Now
of course with a round face, you don't want anything that cuts you here because that's
going to make you appear wider. So you're only going to want length this way. So I'd
never ever recommend a sever bob for someone with a round face or china doll bangs, you
know, the really strong bangs that comes across here. So make sure that you keep your length
always below your jawline with a round face. And with those tips and techniques, you can
easily find a hairstyle that will suit your face shape.
