Hello there,my name is Ravager and I WELCOME you to my guide for Jinx,The Loose Cannon. In
this video I will talk about a small introduction, her abilities, pros & cons, general strategies,
runes & masteries, we will also take a look at some item builds, some of her counterpicks
and lane synergies. So,what is Jinxy Jinx? She is an ad carry
or marksmen that has high damage, strong poke,a great attack damage scaling on her abilities, good
crowd control and also a long range ultimate. All of these attributes of her kit makes her an
excelent adc in teamfights and also in 1vs1 situations. If you manage to get a few kills
she snowballs extremely hard and can easily carry games. Her only vulnerability is that
she has no escapes like dashes or teleports but if you land your skillshots properly you
can easily escape or peel enemies off you. ABILITIES
Let's start with her passive - Get Excited! - this passive gives you a huge movement speed
buff after killing a champion or destroying a tower. This will help you either chase your
enemies or escape them. Her - Q: Switcheroo! - This is Jinx's main
ability that makes her so versatile. The mini-gun gives her good single target damage and the
potential to duel people at the cost of some range while her rocket launcher gives her
extra 10% damage and a very good range. Her rocket launcher ability is very good in teamfights
because of its AoE damage but also because it can AoE crit everyone near your target. It's
only downside is that the rockets cost mana. Her - W: Zap! - This is a line skillshot with
a huge ad scaling and slow. This ability is very helpful in nuking down people in a matter
of seconds, poking enemies on lane, chasing down targets or when trying to escape. As a
side note, this ability is also good for checking bushes since it reveals the target hit,so
you can use this to check bushes also. Her - E: Flame Chompers! - This ability shoots
out three traps which can root an enemy for 1.5 seconds and also damage them. The "Chompers"
gives great utility and crowd control. You can use this ability when you want to set
up a combo, when escaping or chasing someone down.Do not use this ability for vision since
its has a big cooldown and its your only hard crowd control ability.
Her ultimate - R: Super Mega Death Rocket! - This ability is like a execution ultimate. It's
a global line nuke that does a lot of damage especially to low health targets due to its
execute part. You can use this ability when you want to snipe someone, when fighting with
someone and you want extra burst or in teamfights since it does huge splash damage.
SKILL ORDER: Depends mostly on your playstyle !
If you want to rely mostly on your autoattacks max your Q first followed up by maxing your
W and lastly your E.With this skill order you will have extra range on your rockets
and single target damage on the minigun. The only downside is that this skill order doesn't
have much burst damage. If you want a lot of burst damage and poke, max
your W first followed up by maxing your Q and lastly your E.I prefer this skill order
mainly because I love the extra burst damage and I love to poke my enemies. The downside
of this skill order is that your W can be blocked by a minion so you need to be careful
when you are aiming it. Pros & Cons
Her pros: -Great wave clear
-Great crowd control abilities -Good poke damage
-Attack speed steroid with her Mini-Gun -A sniping/execute ability
-Can snowball very easily Cons:
-No escape abilities -A lot of her abilities are skillshots
-Pretty hard to master -Mana hungry if you spam "Zap!" and "Fishbones" (rocket launcher)
GENERAL STRATEGIES:
Because Jinx lacks a spell escape, positioning in fights to get a fast kill and activate
Get Excited! is pretty critical. As a general rule, if the enemy team is grouped
up and you are at a distance, open with Zap! and a few shots from Fishbones, as well as
well-placed Flame Chompers! to maintain distance. Only go into 525 range if you can get the
kill quickly with the minigun and escape without being caught
Flame Chompers! have a delay of 0.4 sec before they are activated, so if you are chasing
or are chased by an enemy, don't throw it directly on the enemy. While your enemies
are rooted you can use a perfect Zap! for some extra damage.
Remember that Fishbones can critically strike, and the critical damage is applied to everyone
caught in the splash radius. This is especially useful for clearing minion waves and to spread
the damage during teamfights. Jinx is a absolute beast in teamfights with
her crowd control and AoE damage. In teamfights use Fishbones first as much as possible and
attack from a distance. You should only switch to minigun when the enemy threats are being
locked down and there is very little danger. The extra damage is not worth potentially
being stunned or killed! You should also be looking for high priority targets and cast
your ultimate on them or use your ultimate when the enemies are grouped up since your
ultimate does a lot of AoE damage. Just remember,in case someone gets close to you Zap them or
throw a Chomper at them and keep yourself safe because a dead ADC is a worthless ADC.
Runes & Masteries Runes: For runes I recommend taking 2 Lifesteal
quintessences and 1 AD quintessence. The lifesteal quintessence with the dorans blade will help
you sustain yourself even in hard laning phases and have a decent starting item. For marks, attack
damage marks since you need some attack damage to last hit properly. For glyphs and seals, take
some resistance runes like armor seals and magic resist glyphs.
Masteries: For masteries,standard ADC masteries,take
21 points in offense and 9 in defense. Summoner spells - take Flash/Barrier,Flash/Cleanse
if the enemy team has a lot of crowd control that can be cleansed. You can take Flash/Ignite
if you like to play agressively. Item builds:
For items: If you have the lifesteal quintessences I suggest you to start with the Dorans Blade
because its a great starting item and also it will give you extra sustain in lane.If
you don't have the lifesteal quints go with Long Sword and Pots. After that rush to Bloodthirster, buy
the Berserkers Greaves,Phantom Dancer for the extra attack speed and crit which you
will need when attacking with Fishbones, get the Infinity Edge and also Guardian Angel.
For the core items: you can also rush Infinity Edge first Instead of Bloodthirster and you
can also replace Phantom Dancer with the Stattik Shiv if you want some extra magic damage.
Counterpicks: Corki - this champion at the current time
is pretty overpowered because he outdamages you.Because of this you will have a hard time
with him especially if he plays agressively and jumps in your face with his armor shredding
Gatling Gun and his burst. Caitlyn - If she constantly pressures you
with her huge range it will be very difficult for you to kill her. While you can activate
your Rocket Launcher to trade back the dmg, you will soon run out of mana and that is
when Caitlyn can zone you from the wave. Also if you try to play agressively she will disengage
with her Net Ezreal - When you are playing against an Ezreal
there are 2 things that can happen.Either it turns out to be a farm lane or one of you
snowballs and gets fed.He outtrades you early if he lands his Q, he will generally out duel
you, and he's also a lot more mobile which makes his early game a lot safer as well.
However if you do get ahead in this lane, you'll be able to carry harder as you scale
better than he does. Lane Synergies
Blitzcrank - Blitz is a very good support that Jinx synchronizes very well with it by
stun locking the pulled target down with Flame Chompers and Zap!
Thresh - a much more nastier version of Blitz,if he lands his hooks, you will kill your targets
easily with the ammount of crowd control you have together.
Zyra and Nami are also very good supports since they have good poke, good crowd control
and versatility. So this was my guide for Jinxy-Poo.If you
guys found it useful please make sure to give it a like, some feedback, share it with your
friends and all that good stuff! Also,If you are not a member of the Pack..What the hell
