Hello My name is Wallace.
Were going to talk about Hallyu. It has spread to the rest of the world
Many people want to join the industry and enter the foreign market.
But we know that the requirements to enter is really high.
For example if you only know one line of Korean you would be disqualified immediately
However, two girls from Singapore successfully entered the Korean market to debut as Skarf.
The two beautiful young girls was chosen from thousands of people. Lets watch the Interview !
Good Morning! We`re really happy to have invited the newly debuted Korean Female Idol Group Skarf!
Hello we are Skarf!
That`s your special greeting right? Lets get Leader Tasha to talk about the group.
Skarf is a group consisting of two Singaporeans and two Koreans.
Scarfs can worn on the head , tied on bags , put in the shoe, used in many ways. [Check Description box if you don't understand.]
Therefore it is very meaning ful. We want to be like a Scarf bringing people different images and concepts.
MC: You said there were two Singaporeans. They are you and ferlyn right? Tasha: Yeah. MC: Sol and Jenny are from Korea
We were talking about meaning of scarfs but I know the spelling of Skarf is also meaningful.
Yes. We changed the Spelling into SK. As a way of showing the connection between Singapore and Korea.
Our leader Tasha and Ferlyn just returned from Korean to your home country of Singapore. What do you feel when you came back?
At the airport there were many people waiting for us. I was really touched.
I was surprised. I didn`t think there would be people waiting for us at the airport. I feel really thankful towards those who came
I know before your debut the Korean news were already reporting on Skarf. Which means you had many people attention before your debut.
On the other hand, Sol and Jenny also came to Singapore with you. What do they think about Singapore?
A/N: This might not be what she says since her pronoucation is slightly off at some points so i`m not sure Singapore had many bif trees and also very clean. Therefore I like Singapore.
MC: Woww ! Jenny even spoke in Chinese! Ferlyn: Truthfully she is working hard to learn Chinese
You like Singapore because it is clean. Then what about Sol?
The food in Singapore is really nice and its really clean here. It feels really familiar being in Singapore

I know that coming to where you are now wasn`t easy. Before the group was made, the two had to go through a difficult audition
And got chosen from around 5,000 candidates and went through lots of practices.
Can you think back about your one year training in Korea?
We had many classes there such as acting, singing, dancing and others. At first it was difficult because of the language barrier.
You guys had to leave from your home. Right now Tasha is only 18 and Ferlyn is only 20. When you were there did you think of giving it all up?
At first it was okay. Everything was new and fresh,we want to work hard and achieve and continue staying there.
But in the middle of it we felt kind of tired of it.

But for our dreams we continued striving on.
Asking Sol and Jenny. This the first time Singaporeans are joining a Korean group what do you think about it?
I was surprised as they are the first pair of Singaporeans to join the Korean Industry
How about Jenny?
I didn`t think we would have such different concept for our group.
OHHH~~ DANCE!!!
Being the Leader, Tasha what do you think about it?
This chance is really special hard to come by. I feel very honored to be the first Singaporeans in the Korean industry.
Also stressed as we are the first Singaporeans. Many Singaporeans are awaiting to see how we do.
After our debut, there are many people want to join the Korean industry. I think we are really brave.
If you have a dream, you need to strive for it full heartedly.
If you put your heart in and work towards it one day you would achieve your dream.
There are 4 beautiful young girls but they come from two different countries and culture. I want to know how you guys communicate normally. Let`s ask Sol and Jenny.
Jenny Asking Tasha how to say English in Mandarin.
We talk using simple English and many many body language.
I remember we didn`t know what toilet bowl was in Korean. We want to know what it was in korean.
At that time our practice room had no Toilet. So if we needed to go we had to got to the top floor.
So we wanted to ask them where it was.But we didn`t know how to say it in Korean. So we end up drawing a picture of a toilet bowl.
Talking about korea, I`ve realize the girl groups are either more sexy or independent but however you guys are more innocent and soft and young. Can you talk more about it.
We want to be something like a blank paper at debut. As we grow more mature and more experienced, we add more color to it.
MC:The member`s personality seems very different. Tasha/Ferlyn:We are worlds apart. MC: Can you talk about the difference.
Just looking at us, you can tell we are different.
Ferlyn and Tasha didn`t know each other previously right?
Yeah we didn`t know each other but we met each other a few times.
Ferlyn how about you talk about your personality. What is different from the other 3?
Wouldn`t it have to be them talking about me?
What do you think Leader Tasha?
When you look at Ferlyn, she looks slightly cold and unapproachable.
And you would be like. Oh no, she is my group member?
Yeah. I was thinking how are we going to talk. But after awhile she really warms up to people. She is really interesting.
MC: She is the type that warms up to people after awhile. Tasha: The first time I was slightly speechless.
What do you think about Sol then?
At first when I saw her I thought she was very cute. Her face was really small.
MC: She looks like the ideal face for Koreans with big eyes, Ferlyn: and small head. Really cute yet she is the oldest in the group.
Right. She is 21 but she has a baby face.
How About Jenny?
She was very quiet and doesn`t talk much. It was about after 3 months of practice that she really chats with us. Like me she is the one who takes time to warm up to a person
Can you tell that Jenny is the youngest in the group and she is 16?
Many people say this a lot. The youngest look like the oldest while the oldest look like the youngest.
Now we need to ask them about the difference in their impression of Tasha at first and after actually knowing her.
Really pretty. After knowing her, I thought she was a really inviting person and had a really good personality
We are glad to invite the newly debuted Skarf to Good Morning Singapore. We are going to watch their debut songs. Oh! Dance.
