We finished the battle of the video landing pages, and we have a winner.
Over the past couple of weeks, we have been using Google's website optimizer to test two
pages.
First up, this page. We've got our logo, our video that plays automatically and an opt
in box.
On the contender, we have the same setup up top. The only difference is that we've added
these four testimonials down here.
Now going into this, I thought that this page would win. But I did not think it would win,
by as much as it did.
So we take a look here. We've got the original with no testimonials, versus the combination
one, variation one with testimonials.
You can see here, with the estimated conversion rates, this page with the testimonials showed
a 17.2% conversion rate +/- 5.3% versus 6.67 +/-3.6%.
So, that meant an overall improvement of 158%. So, that was a huge, huge difference. Getting
that increase in leads of 158% is a very big deal, and it was achieved simply by adding
testimonials to the bottom of this page.
So, we now have our new winner and this is now our landing page. It's continuing to do
really well and we'll see what the next test we do is. If you have any ideas about what
