You’re considering entering into a transaction. It could be a lease; it could be a sale of
a business. You know you need a contracted drafted up. The question you have is whether
or not you need an attorney. My name is Dan Wilmot. I’m an attorney in Washington state
and I’d like to address that question. Yes, you should have a lawyer assist you in drafting
a contract. The contract is the single most important document in any given transaction.
It governs the relationship and obligations of the parties for the life of the transaction
or the relationship. There are many common traps in drafting an agreement. The language
does not address some of the problems that could arise over the course of the transaction.
If you need help drafting a contract that’s clear, that protects your interests, pick
up the phone and give me a call. I work with contracts every day. My name is Dan Wilmot.
Thanks for watching and have a great day.
