MICHAEL LEWIS: Michael Lewis here with Christian Martial Arts. On behalf of Expert Village,
we are here to talk today about executing an outboard wristlock. Now we are going to
show you how to execute an outboard wristlock from a straight grab. A straight grab means
that he is grabbing with his right, he is grabbing my left. So it goes straight across
the body. It is not crossing the body. And that is very important when you are trying
to execute specifically an outboard wristlock. So first, I am going to pick up my hand. I
will also going to have my palm facing myself. And then I take my right hand, place the fingers
in the palm, thumb on the back and I pry against his thumb, because that is the weakest part
of his grab is the thumb. I can roll out. So again, I roll up, palm facing myself, my
fingers going to his palm and I roll out and push. I take my left hand and support. I push
in towards his shoulder and then out to the outside of his body and twist and then he
taps. As far as using it from a straight grab, keep in mind that you want to use it palm
facing yourself. Even on the other side, if he were to grab, it is always palm facing
yourself. And again, I can execute on the other side the same exact thing, just flipping
it to the other side. That is outboard wristlock from a straight grab.
