Now to heat our number ten can of beans, simply open the door, uncover our pan, empty in the
beans and cover. Place the beans in the Sonic Steamer. Press the program pad A-1 and just
press start. To program the unit for two and three stage heating, again remove the left-hand
filter screen and press the program button. We will be now reprogramming pad B-2. To access the B side
of two, press the A/B shift pad and the number two pad. The factory settings will appear.
To clear it press the power pad and cook on high power and here we are doing two and three
stage heating. We will reduce high to defrost. We will put in a minute and go back to power
and now the second stage. We will now heat on high for a minute and for a third stage,
we will reduce the power again to medium and put in another minute. When we press the program
pad, we will see all three stages are lit, three power levels and three minutes. Replace
the filter screen. Now to utilize what we have just programmed in two and three stage
heating, place the item in that you will be defrosting. To access the B side of 2, press
the A/B shift pad and then two. Here you will see B-2, three stages, three power levels,
three minutes. From this point just press start and that will cover two and three stage
defrosting and heating. For proper defrosting again, please refer to the last page of the
cookbook or our website. When you programmed all the functions in to the Sonic Steamer,
you may want to activate the program lock. The program lock accomplishes several things.
First, the oven begins heating as soon as one of the program pads is pressed. There
is no need to press the Start button. Second, none of the pre-programmed memory pads can
be changed by pressing the program. Finally, when cooking if the door is open the remaining
time
in
the display disappears.
