No, no puedes.
Buzz60 Politics, I'm Jay DeDapper
That's what Latino voters are telling Mitt Romney about his chances of winning back some
of their support after picking Paul Ryan to be his running mate.
Romney skipped over Florida Senator and Tea Party darling Marco Rubio -- and Nevada Governor
Brian Sandoval -- to name Ryan and with it polls suggest he has kissed America's fastest-growing
segment of the electorate goodbye.
Romney's team isn't giving up without a little fight however.
[Romney Spanish-language Ad]
This is the Romney campaign's latest Spanish-language ad riffing on Obama’s 2008 theme, Si se
puede – Yes we can.
The problem for Romney is that the Spanish-language media has been focusing on issues he doesn’t
want to talk about – like Obama allowing young immigrants here illegally to apply to
stay in the US legally on a renewable two-year basis.
The application process opened in mid-August and has served Obama’s political aspirations
well – after announcing it he jumped out to a 50 point lead among Latino voters.
Which definitely sounds a lot less like No podemas mas and a lot more like Si se puede.
Soy Mitt Romney y apruebo este mensaje.
