Hello, I'm Kathryn from e-outdoor.co.uk this is the Women's Suzanne Triclimate Trench from The North Face The beauty of triclimates is that they are essentially three jackets in one The two layers can be worn individually or combined to create the ultimate warm and waterproof jacket So this is the external shell jacket. This is the waterproof layer, created with a fully seam sealed HyVent fabric that is both waterproof and breathable Starting at the top of the jacket, you can see we have an insulated hood with a cinch-cord system to gather it in around your face. The clever thing about the hood on this triclimate is that it can be reversed and attached to the insulation layer as well At the hips are two zippered hand warmer pockets, with a fleece lining on one side Over the main zip we have a snap down storm flap this gives a further defence against any horrible winds because of the longer length the zip is two way so we can access our trouser pockets underneath easily Inside we have a third zippered pocket with a cord guide to hold your headphones secure And behind the main zip you can see the zippers that hold the inner layer in place so this is the inside jacket it is made with a luxury 600 down fill insulation At the hips are two more zippered hand pockets with that soft fleece lining Round behind the collar you can see the zipper were the hood can be attached The cuffs are finished with a soft elasticated binding and here you can see the snappers that hold them in place within the HyVent shell What I love about triclimates is the versatility they offer allowing me to wear each layer as it is required.
