Hey Everyone this Darren Copeland your VA Mortgage Expert. Have you ever heard the terms
DD214 and COW and why they’re so important when it comes to qualifying for a VA Mortgage?
The DD214 represents the complete, verified record of a service member’s time in the
military. It includes awards, benefits, combat experience, and discharge information.
I know this sounds crazy, however, many people have lost their DD214 over the years and we
can help you track that down when applying for a VA loan.
The other form is Called the Certificate of Eligibility or COE. This form lets the VA-approved
lenders know that a service member has served long enough to be eligible for a VA Home Loan.
It also let’s us know how much benefit they qualify for and if there’s any in-service
connected disability that allows for the VA funding fee to be waived.
The great thing about the Certificate of Eligibility is that we can order that for you so just
let us know how we can help.
Thanks for watching this Video and we look forward to working with you.
