Dear Mozambicans Colleagues (Doctors, Technicians, Nurses,
Service Agents, drivers, gardeners and other support staff)
The AMM and the CPSU has always been guided by legitimacy, legality and justice enshrined
in the Constitution. The constitutional precedence over all other
rules of law, by that paragraph 1 of article 87 is clear: "Workers have the right to strike."
The State shall abide by the Constitution and founded on the legality (paragraph 3 of
Article 2). We are deeply shocked by the bullying and
speeches delivered by our parents: 1. Call us arrogant and other names ... Our
dignity is not at the mercy of any intimidation! So we do not allow compulsive work!
2. They arrested and beat our colleagues in Magude and is thus respecting the social role
of health professionals!? 3. Several powerful entities go to our homes!
Our homes! Come and threaten us! 4. MOH entities earn more than 2500 USD subsidy,
despise public and arrogantly employees who are fighting for their rights. Let's face
Mozambican brothers, with this course of dissatisfaction overall fear that one day banish all Mozambicans
in their own country.
Dear brothers Mozambicans We just want to give you a decent hospital
care and humanitarian! But we have been abandoned to the detriment
of superfluous privileges targeted other priorities outside the Health Sector!
All Mozambicans know that health professionals fail to perform their work with dignity: missing
medications, gowns, masks, Personal Protective Equipment. But still we do and everything
we deploy in the act of saving lives... The Mozambican people recognize our effort
and our fight is your fight too, we inform you that we are not insensitive to the lack
of clinical care to the population but are worn with the wave of oppression and humiliation
in which we live.
PLEASE DIGNITY TO PROVIDE A BETTER SERVICE TO OUR PEOPLE.
We appeal to the good sense of the Mozambican people for who along with religious leaders
to enlighten our leaders so that in time can end the suffering of so many Mozambicans who
we swear by caring and devote our lives. We just want them to TAKE CARE OF WHO CARES!
Colleagues The strike is Legitimate and legal under Article
87 of the Constitution, and every citizen has the right to disobey illegal orders or
orders that affect their rights, freedoms and guarantees, according to Article 80 of
the Constitution. Even more, according to n. 3 of article 112:
"The State argues that equal work should correspond to equal pay."
We are not lawyers but we know that the intimidation of compulsive work are prohibited according
to n. 3 of article 85 of the Constitution. Therefore, there is no response from the MOH
May 21, reported that until there is resolution of issues concerning health professionals,
for these provide better health services, the General Strike of all Healthcare Professionals
continues.
