Hello! I’m Sheila from AccessArt and I’m absolutely delighted to be welcoming you today
to our first ever international online drawing course for teenagers. This workshop is all
about you and we’re so excited to be giving you the opportunity to ‘draw together’.
The first module is about drawing space and it’s about the spaces and the places around
you, which interest you or inspire you every day – just simple places that you see every
day and the second course – the second assignment, is about drawing yourselves it’s about your
interests – your likes – your dislikes and what we’re hoping is through drawing
– and you drawing – and we’re going to help you do that, these themes, you’ll
be able to connect to each other and share your ideas and share your experiences too.
We also hope that you’ll be able to give each other tips on how to develop your drawing
skills. Now to do that, what you have to do is upload your images to the AccessArt website
and we’re going to show you how to do that and it could just be one drawing that you
upload but what we’re hoping is that the more of you that upload images the more we’re
going to see the sorts of things that interest and inspire you and the more that you’re
going to get out of it. We’re so excited to see this. We can’t wait to see what you
do and we really hope that you have a fantastic time. And remember that at the end of it,
you’ll have a chance for your drawings to be seen at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge
in January 2014 and you’ll also get a certificate – an international certificate of online
participation – so have a fantastic time. We look really forward to seeing what you
do.
