DREW NOAH: So, the first thing I'll show you how to do is how to change the theme. It's
probably one of the first things you want to do and it's really, it's just kind of something
fun so you don't have to do it, but iGoogle has a whole lot of themes that actually, they'll
change like during the day or like depending on like what the season is or something like
that so it's pretty cool. So to do that, just go right here to select theme and it's going
to bring up this page right here which you'll see there's a gadgets and themes tab, we'll
be looking at this a lot when I'm--started showing you the gadgets. I'm kinda getting
you an idea of--just this page we'll be using a lot because this is where you go to customize
your iGoogle page. But looking at the themes tab, here's one, pretty cool one I like called
Earth-light depending on the time of day, you actually see where it's daylight and where
it's dark in the world. This is kind of an abstract one and this one too will change
over time. It's not just going to look like this, it's going to change, just like this
one's changing as the day goes on. Supermoto Mayhem, Adventure in Lollipopland, there's
just a whole bunch of different themes, Hong Kong, Bus Stop and you see we've got like
pages and pages of themes and then kinda the Solar System, Winter Village, Spring Scape
and they change throughout the day. I like this beach one, this one I've used before
and the sun actually sets at night so that's pretty cool. And then, of course, the Classic
if you don't really need a crazy theme, then you can just stick with the classic theme.
A Sweet Dreams, Tea House, and what's cool about iGoogle is that they're constantly adding
these themes and gadgets as well, but I remember when I first started using it, they didn't--there
was only like six themes or something, so now there's like pages and pages of them,
so there's a pretty cool one, just--you can see when you actually add it, what it's doing
it's just changing this top part in between the top of the page and where all your gadgets
are. So you can kind of go through and just keep checking them out, see which one's you
like. I like this one, so I'm going to stick with this one for now, but remember most of
them will change throughout the day, so it's kind of fun to try different ones out and
see what they look like in different times of the day and whenever it becomes night time,
North America will be in darkness, just like the rest of the world is now, but so after
you select a theme that changes by the time of day, usually you'll get a little pop up
that says like enter location. So you'll have to enter your location if you want to change
depending on where you are. So, I'll just enter in where I am and save and it was pretty
much already set to daylight in North America anyway, but you get the idea. So that's how
you can change your theme in iGoogle.
