Jordan Henderson's Statistics Against Sevilla Make For Grim Reading
Jordan Hendersons statistics in the 3-3 draw with Sevilla are a bit of a mess.
Liverpool blew a 3-0 lead in an incredible Champions League game, with Sevilla mounting a stunning second-half comeback.
The Reds were flying in the first half-an-hour, with Roberto Firmino grabbing a double either side of a strike from Sadio Mane.
However, the game was completely turned on its head, as Liverpool collapsed.
Sevilla striker Wissam Ben Yedder bagged two, including a penalty in the 60th minute, to give the Andalusian outfit a real chance of getting something from the game.
And that they did, as in the third minute of stoppage time, *** Pizarro popped up to complete the turnaround, ensuring the points were shared.
One man who is getting a lot of stick for his performance is captain Jordan Henderson.
In times like last night, you look to your skipper for inspiration and leadership and he just didnt offer anything.
While they dont always tell the full story, Hendersons statistics last night make for grim reading.
The former Sunderland man is regularly criticised for passing backwards and sideways and it seems he couldnt even do that against Sevilla, completing just 55 per cent of his passes.
Even worse, he made zero tackles, gave away five fouls and was booked once.
Jordan Henderson also failed to win a single tackle against Sevilla.
He also didnt attempt an aerial duel.#SEVLIV pic.twitter.com/Y3Y8vsW7ii - ReviewFootball (@ReviewFootball) November 21, 2017.

Not exactly what youd call leading by example, was it? Henderson has come under plenty of criticism from Liverpool fans for his display, with many wanting him out the side:.
Not once did I see Henderson have a word with anyone.
Shameful for a Liverpool captain, should of been tearing strips off the players or at least encouraging them, something, instead he was passing the ball backwards or running aimlessly.

Ive tried to defend Jordan Henderson on here on numerous occasions, but that second half might have been the worst ever by a Liverpool captain.

Henderson possibly the most spineless LFC captain there has ever been - DECLΔN (@Declancarr96) November 21, 2017 .
Jordan Henderson is up there with Charlie Adam and Andy Carroll.
The worst Liverpool captain of all time.

Someone *** justify Jordan Henderson to me please? Help me understand what he brings to the team as a player? NO bottle and hes the *** captain! Absolutely embarrassing.

I like Jordan Henderson but as captain of a football club you need to be a leader, and despite being on that pitch there was no leadership in that second half whatsoever.

Typical, didnt expect anything less after they scored the 2nd, if Jordan Henderson is still playing against Chelsea then I dont know what he has to do to get dropped, its no wonder Emre Can wants to leave when Henderson gets picked instead of him, pathetic from Liverpool.
