Hi! My name is Yvette Parish, and thank you for visiting expertvillage.com. I am here
at Cynergy Dance Studio in San Antonio, Texas with my beautiful model Kerry. We’re going
to be talking about moisturizers for different skin types, doing a beautiful makeover on
her, discussing eyelashes, the different eyelash curlers, and proper eyebrow placement in the
makeup. What I’m going to do to set her makeup now is I’m going apply a loose powder.
I’m going to go down, because I don’t want the little hairs on her face, not that
you have any hairs but everyone has a little peach fuzz, we want it all to go down. Loose
powder is really so much prettier for oily skin, and I’ll tell you why. Oily skin tends
to have breakouts occasionally. If you’re doing a powder, a pressed powder, and you’re
opening up that container that has that sponge in it, and you’re pounding that dirty sponge
into the foundation, into your face, into the foundation, into the powder, you’re
just spreading the bacteria from your face to the sponge, from the sponge to the face.
Whenever you apply it with a brush, you have the power to wash this brush everyday, you
have the power to the loose powder, you’re only using as much as you need so nothing
is contaminated. Therefore, less breakouts and being more hygienic. Now, she’s a beautiful
canvas. I got her all one color, beautiful skin, nice and smooth. I applied the foundation
with a sponge all over, then I went back with my fingers where I felt where I felt like
she needed maybe just a little bit more coverage, which was around the eyes, the corner of the
nose, the mouth, and a little bit on her slight imperfection that she sees and no one else
does.
