o since our last video was how to cook a steak today I am going to teach you how to
make a crispy baked potato
so i have one very photogenic potato
I also have some oil in this case peanut oil but olive oil is also
excellent choice
i have my sea salt and black pepper
and for an optional ingredient
I have
some herbs
here I have some crushed rosemary
ok I put the potato in a bowl to minimize mess the first steps going be to coat it
with oil
drizzle with oil
toss that around
coat that very well
next we are going to season with salt
some pepper
rosemary
coat that well sprinkle a bit more if you need to
ok after one hour we are going to turn our oven up
425 degrees
until it gets nice and crispy
right the next step is we're going to put in a preheated oven at three hundred
seventy five degrees
alright as you can see it i have a pan right here in the oven
and that's to catch any drippings
we're gonna put the potato
right on the rack
so the air can circulate around it while we're gonna bake this
potato for about an hour to hour and a half uh... really pretty much the
depends
on how huge the potatoes you bought are
well there we have it
nice crispy potato
pufft skin
look at that steam coming out of it hear the crunch
