>>TONY CAMPBELL: Marian Wright Edelman said that service is the
rent that we pay for living.
And it means that someone acknowledges my humanity.
And whenever I'm able to serve, I'm acknowledging someone else's humanity,
so that when you come into a store or restaurant or movie theatre,
you're not just another dollar bill to be made,
but someone actually cares about you as a person.
And places where they know your name and they have a smile on their face
and they're glad to see you.
There are times when I've had a terrible day, walked into a place,
and somebody has smiled, said my name, and asked me how I was doing.
Turned my day totally around and made me feel worthy of living.
That's Celebrated Service.
