It was a cloudy day here in Seoul, but I hear a heavy rainfall watch has been issued in
some places.
For details we connect live to our Kim Bo-gyung at the weather center. Bo-gyung, what's the
latest?
Good evening. Although it's not raining here in Seoul, some regions down south are seeing
heavy rain at this hour.
A heavy rainfall watch has been issued on the mountains of Jeju where over 60 millimeters
may fall through tomorrow evening. Elsewhere... Jeju and the southern regions can expect 10
to 50 millimeters. The central regions, including Seoul, are forecast to get less than 5 millimeters.
Currently, the nation is under the influence of a low pressure trough from the southwest,
which is why we're seeing cloudy skies and showers.
In parts of Gangwon, where it didn't rain, a dry weather warning continues to be in effect.
So make sure to keep yourselves hydrated. Otherwise, it looks like we're going to enjoy
early summer temperatures tomorrow.
Seoul jumps to 21 degrees. Cities down south make it to the mid-teens.
Jeju starts off the day at 14 degrees, with a high of 17. Dokdo and Mt. Kumgang peak at
12 and 14.
