My name is Aaron Sherinian.
This is my home in Arlington, Virginia.
My name's Emily Sherinian.
I work for a global public health and development organization.
I manage public relations for the United Nations Foundation.
Prevention, education, and research programs
in about 35, 40 countries around the world.
The organization is based in Washington, D.C.,
but we work all throughout the world.
Aaron speaks French, Italian, Spanish, and Armenian.
And then English when things are working.
Aaron is my husband. My illustrious husband.
Emily is unstoppable. She isn't afraid of anything.
He's got this unbelievable amount of energy.
We love exploring Washington.
Oh, that energy.
We love to eat together, try different tastes.
We love to catch a movie when we can.
We love visiting with friends.
We have so many interests.
Everyone says less is more. I think that's wrong. More is more.
There are so many things we want to do.
Every morning I wake up
and teach a few high schoolers in a scripture study class.
I have the chance to do it Monday through Friday.
Yeah, you know, there's never a dull moment.
Hi, Dad.
Hey, bug. Hi.
Being a mom is another reason why we're busy.
It's so great. And it's hard.
We have three little kids:
new baby, a seven-year-old boy, and an active four-year-old girl.
Ann gave it to me from Andrew.
The jump from two to three,
we went from man-to-man to a zone defense.
It's easy to love being a father.
I think everybody's life is crazy.
And faith makes it easier.
I'm a communicator.
I'm a storyteller.
I'm a citizen of the world.
I'm a global public health advocate.
I'm a proud father.
I'm a wife and mother.
I'm a lucky husband.
(laughs)

And I am a Mormon.
And I'm a Mormon.
