Scars can be unsightly and can affect a person's self confidence. But there are ways to camouflage
a scar and conceal the severity of it. I'm Jackie Silver from Aging Backwards with how
to camouflage a scar. There are over the counter products available that are specifically formulated
for softening and reducing the visibility of scars. Check your local pharmacy or drug
store for these products. For covering up a scar temporarily, try a waterproof cream
concealer. Match the color of the concealer to the color of your skin as closely as possible
so it won't be so obvious. Apply the cream to the scar and blend it to just beyond the
outer border of the scar. Set the cream with a powder in either a matching color or a translucent
powder using a cosmetic puff or cotton ball. Keep hair and clothing away from the concealer
creams so it won't rub off and also to avoid staining your clothes. Remember, to camouflage
a scar, look for scar reducing products at your local drug store or use a cream concealer
that matches the color of your skin and set it with powder. I'm Jackie Silver with how
to camouflage a scar. Stay young.
