Dr. Currie, the leading figure in carnivorous dinosaurs.
He too has a dinosaur he wants to find.
It's Deinocheirus, first discovered by Polish expedition in 1965.
This is very interesting for us. This is where Deinocheirus came from.
You may have seen the specimen. It has a very long pair of arms.
And that's all they have, the arms and the claws.
And there's only one specimen in the entire world.
Where that specimen was found. That was right here.
And of course we would love to find another skeleton of this animal
because first of all, it's so big and we don't understand exactly what it is.
This dinosaur is one of the reasons why
he joined the Korea-Mongolia International Dinosaur Project team.
A hand-drawn map by the Polish team 40years ago
is the only evidence to prove the existence of the dinosaur.
Deinocheirus, an imaginary dinosaur with an unknown face and body.
There is a reason why paleontologists are enthusiastic about this dinosaur.
Sharp claws 25cm in length and 2.4m-long arms.
No other dinosaur has been discovered with such long arms.
Many paleontologists want to find even just small pieces of Deinocheirus.
A crew brought back a rusty can.
And that'll tell us what year the can came from.
And possibly where it was made. It says PL. which suggests Poland.
So that's a very, very good clue.
Fortunately, they manage to find the Polish team's excavation site from 40 years ago.
There is a dinosaur not too far away.
Did he find a trace of Deinocheirus?
Dr. Currie observes closely.
The expert's instinct is accurate.
Finally, he finds two gastralia of Deinocheirus
Well, this is the holy Grail.
This is what we're looking for.
It's a quarry.
It's very old quarry. There's not much left of it.
But when we line it up with photographs of Deinocheirus,
we can see the background of the ridge there.
And the same scenery that we see in the background. There's no question. This is the place.
I'm very happy.
We've been kind of looking for the sight for at least 4 years now.
