At the very beginning I wanted to say a few words about the whole project RACEISM,
where it came from and to what we really owe it.
As I perceive it, through the prism of the last 2.5 - 3 years,
operation of an informal group, and what led to it all that we can be here today and
that attendance looks the way it does, and I hope there is some
kind of quality we have achieved.
When it comes to the phenomenon, in my opinion, I do not mean to search some
very powerful words for what happened, but I have a feeling that this is a
phenomenon that this project developed, that RACEISM is pretty strong group,
but this is only because we were able to gather the right people on the forum.
This means that the people who build the car on this forum are so open-minded,
that it doesn’t scare them being in a group with people who often risk,
do controversial projects, projects based on very different bases,
which are not only focused on one car brand.
It is known that in Poland, forums are present for many years.
Forums that are devoted to specific brands or specific styles of tuning.
In my opinion, people have had enough of internet forums.
People who make specific cars do not always have the need to share this online,
reading or writing posts, this novelty is far behind us.
We do this event only every year for many reasons,
for one: it takes a lot of time to organize it.
Making a good event, unconventional event, where some things will be going on
unconventional way is very hard.
No selection, entry fee and not even lining cars the proper way on the field is not an option.
In my opinion, such a formula of car events in Poland is exhausted.
If you want to do an event that is jaw-dropping, then you need
to gather a serious group of people who will stand behind you;
20 people who will be committed to the project from the beginning to the end.
As far as the event, I'm impressed that people turned out to be very reliable.
I mean, that it was enough that we had a very limited telephone or email contact
with teams from abroad and no one had forgotten, no one resigned in the last moment.
The vast majority of the teams arrived in large numbers.
Some teams, like the Russians or Germans, for example, came even in bigger numbers
than we discussed and I'm really happy that they could be relied upon.
We did a very big step forward when it comes to the last year's edition.
The international formula of the event was a success and it’s a nice feeling
that these guys came all the way here to Poland.
I hope that we will manage to do a similar event next year, however, it seems to me
that it should be done on a smaller scale, with limited amount of cars.
I was thinking of 100 really great projects and this is my thought after today.
I would like us to go in this direction and as the event.
