Currently, most Victorians are charged for their electricity at a flat price rate.
So regardless of what time of day you use electricity, the cost is always the same.
Soon, Victorians will be offered the choice of staying on their flat price rate or moving
to flexible electricity pricing. With flexible pricing, electricity will cost
less to use outside of the peak period.
So if you're able to swap the time of day you use appliances such as dishwashers,
clothes dryers and washing machines to non-peak periods,
you can pay less for the electricity you use. To see if the new flexible electricity pricing
options could work for you, switch on to helpful, independent information
