Let's go Mujoe World!
In the English version, it's called Mr. Meanie's Future World.
Which I think would be a perfect title for a Mujoe spin-off.
Sure, he's not the definitive Bomberman villain...
(that honour goes to Bagura)
... but he's a funny guy with a stupid look and a cool voice. More Mujoe!
Also, this level has some really great music.
I might even have to say it's THE BOMB.
But I'm not that desperate for terrible puns.
Not yet, anyway.
Those hover droids will shoot a laser in a circular motion if it spies you.
I honestly can't remember if they can be destroyed or not. Throwing bombs at them does nothing...
... and bomb blasts go right under them.
There's a rather neat graphical gimmick when going to the next level.
Check it out!
Yeah, it doesn't last long, and it's kind of undermined by having to fade-out between gameplay and cinematic...
But I like it. It's a cool feature. Makes the world seem that bit more space-age.
The cyber coyotes will throw molotov cocktails if you approach them.
Rather ineffectual, though.
I, uh, honestly can't remember what that searchlight does.
I assume bad stuff happens.
If I were more willing to get myself killed, I'd have experimented a little, but not in this playthrough, buddy!
If the turtle robots run into the black blobs, the two fuse into a bigger robot.
Uh, again, this is a situation where I didn't get the chance to see what exactly that does. That's what the website is for!
I do love that gimmick.
It's just a pity the lower floors weren't as visible on the higher levels.
Seeing enemies patrolling down there would really give the illusion of a heavily-guarded enemy fortress.
I wonder if MechaDoc minds that it's Mujoe's face plastered all over the place.
Well, it's not "Mujoe & MechaDoc World", so I guess he doesn't mind too much.
The next area is one long stage with no breaks...
So I'm going to break the video. Back in a moment!
