Hi everyone, Brenda Braineater here. In case you didn't know, I'm a zombie.
I used to be like all those other mindless, bored, drooling, undead dopes.
Nothing but dirt in between my ears.
That was before I heard about the summer reading club.
With the Central Rappahannock Regional Library's Teen Summer Reading Club,
you can read whatever you want all summer long.
Keeping track of the amount of time you spend reading
can win you all sorts of free stuff!
Just by signing up,
you'll get a bookmark and a piece of candy.
But there's much more.
Just think of it as reading for only 30 minutes a day.
Let's break it down for you.
In just six days you could earn a "Buried in Fines" fine free card to erase any of those pesky overdue fines!
In twelve days, you could win a secret surprise!
In eighteen days, you could win more candy.
In twenty-four days, you could win a mystery prize.
And in just over a month, you could win your own free book to keep!
Throughout the summer you'll also have the chance to enter weekly drawings for two free movie tickets!
The summer reading club is a great way to stay focused and have fun during summer break.
It's free to sign-up at any of your local public libraries or on our website teens.librarypoint.org.
If it's good enough for zombies, it's good enough for you!
So dig up a book and fight those undead dog days.
