So, I want to give this body, the lining that's sewn together a quick press before I start
explaining to you how to do the drawstring. I want to press all these little wrinkles
out where they rolled a little bit. Sometimes it's just like the nature of whatever fabric
that you are using. So this fabric is real slinky some kind of real lightweight fabric
and it wants to do all kinds of stuff. So I'll just press it out and make it lay straight,
like that, and as soon as we put this drawstring in here you are really going to see the shape
of the purse come out. There we go, okay. We can put that aside and so this is the body
and these are our two pieces of drawstring. Let's do a quick overview of how we're going
to do this. We're going to put one end through here and it's basically going to snake all
the way around and come out this side. So these two are going to be coming out here
and then this one I'm going to run through here all the way around and it's going to
come out this side and the way we are going to put them in is with a safety pin. This
one, before you even start trying to put it in, make sure that it fits inside your hole
and that's good. What you are going to want to do is grab the end of one of your drawstrings.
I like to fold mine over just in case it was to possibly rip through one layer, I just
fold it and it won't do that. Stick it through there. There you go and that's how you get
ready for it. In the next clip I'm going to show you how we actually run it through which
is fun.
