Hi, I'm Michelle Renee here in Tampa, Florida with the Michelle Renee Makeup Artist Group
and on behalf of Expert Village I'm here to demonstrate makeup for Summer. The next step
is going to be foundation. Now because it's Summer I always tell my clients just as you
wouldn't go out in a sweater in Summer neither would you put a heavy foundation on you in
the Summer. You want to be fresh, light, reflect the season in your face. Now to put on foundation
I have a couple of different tools. My first tool is my hand this might be the quickest
method just make sure your hands are clean so you don't place unneeded oil on the skin.
The second is a sponge. This a great way quick easy and it gives you a more professional
look. The third way which is my personal favorite is a foundation brush and that's what I'll
be using today. Now what I have right now has an SPF of 15. It's just a sheer light
foundation. Now in the Summer people normally go darker, get tanner, they're outside more.
So, you want to make sure that the foundation matches your jaw line. So with Leslie right
here we'll smooth it all out and that's a great color for her. When applying foundation,
I like to get a little bit on my brush, on your finger, on the sponge. And to make sure
it's evenly spread out across the face I put a little dot on her forehead, her cheeks,
be careful to stay away from the eye area cause we're gonna put a heavier lighter concealer
later, and a little bit on the chin and maybe a little bit on the nose. So, what we're gonna
do is we're going to brush the color through the skin. Make sure that it goes out evenly.
Remember we don't want to pull or tug at your skin. I like to especially for older women.
I like to get a little foundation and just lightly dab it down the neck. And wolla, we're
on our way.
