Hi, this Julie Silfverberg here of Success Partners.
Today's video is about when you're faced with a challenge.
What are the kind of questions you're inclined to ask yourself?
Are they some questions the most useful for you?
What I suggest you do with this video is;
think a problem or challenge that you have
and listen to me as I ask you
two different sets of questions. I'll ask you one set of questions
when I'm through with that just notice how you feel
about your challenge or your problem. Then
I'll ask you the second set of questions questions and notice how you feel after that
set. Okay are you ready?
Think now about a problem or a challenge that's facing you
right now, so that you make it useful for yourself. So here are the questions
What's wrong why do you have this problem?
What caused this problem?
How has this problem limited you?
How long have you had this problem?
How does it cause you to fail?
Whose fault is it?
Okay. So that's the first group of questions.
Just register notice how you feel. Okay.
Let that go now. Now again
an alternative set questions and just again
think your challenge or your problem and start afresh.
What do you want instead?
How can you get your outcome?
How do you know when you have it?
What resources do you have a right now
that helps you achieve your outcome?
When you get what you want, how do you know?
And when you're there, how does your life improve?
What you need to do to begin getting what you want?
What's the first step?
And just notice how you feel now
with regard to your problem or challenge notice
how you feel different now. I suspect
you feel much more positive about the challenge
after the second set questions and so
if you do, just notice what are the kind of questions that you ask yourself
when posed with a challenge. Do you tend to go to the first lot of questions
or the second lot of questions. If the first lot then I suggest
you experiment using the second
group of questions more frequently. You can play this video to yourself
many times to help you get that. So that's given you a little experience
of how I work with coaching. If you found the second to
questions useful for you why don't you think about giving me a call?
You might as well do it today. Looking forward to seeing you next time
