My Flip-Flops Today
My shoes seem to wear out quickly The reason is prickly
I walked in circles around this earth constantly examining my worth
was it a momentous birth? or a census birth...
just adding to the masses souls already in caskets
cause you died when you came through the birth canal
you lost the know how you forgot your first kiss...
the one that God put on your lips The Breath of life that lets you know to turn
your head at the hips and when the Madonna pushed you out
you were supposed to shout... but were those your last words of protest?
do you now just sit back and digest the intestines of the pigs
with those powdered wigs who judge and jury you
label, enable you do you shuck and jive
just to stay alive? but you haven't lived since the day you were
born... this the fury from a woman scorned
and I'll have my say because there's no way, I will make my final
lay without ever, having gotten up.
