It might be cold outside, but the hot place to be is SplashDown!
Check out this piece on all the great things going on at SplashDown located at Columbia Swim Center.
Columbia Association's SplashDown is located at Columbia Swim Center.
It is an aquatic playground with two 40-foot high, 360-foot long slides that twirl and swirl you into a large swimming pool.
Those seeking less splash but equal fun will enjoy a diving well with a 1-meter springboard and jungle rope swing.
Hi, I'm Shane Wolter the Assistant General Manager of the Columbia Swim Center, located at here 10400 Cross Fox Lane in the village of Wilde Lake.
I'm really excited to bring you news about bringing back SplashDown, 360 feet of whirly twirly wet fun for you and your kids.
A 42-inch height minimum is required to ride the slide.
SplashDown has been voted the Favorite Place to Have a Party by Maryland Family magazine and one of the Top 10 Things to Do in the Washington Area by the Washington Post.
Here at SplashDown we offer birthday parties and rental opportunities in the evening.
Also, on the last Friday of every month we have teen nights.
If you're a local high school or middle school student, you can come in and use our SplashDown.
We have live music playing here and it's a lot of fun for you and your friends.
Also, on certain select days when we're off school we have our Snack and Slide.
During Snack and Slide, you get to ride our slides as many times as you'd like, go off our rope swinger or diving board and on top of that, you're going to get chips, a drink, and a ice cream.
So, what's up with SplashDown this season? Glad you asked!
SplashDown will be hosting a variety of programs and events.
For more information on the great programs we've got going on at the Swim Center, go to ColumbiaPools.org or call 410-730-7000.
Don't miss out on all the fun!
What's coming up soon?
