Now before we go ahead with some new scratches we should review the scratches from the last
series first. Ready, let's go. So here in the last series we learned such scratches
as the forward tear, the orbit, and the flare. Now I have to remind you just with every single
other scratch we do, you have to look at the label, find where the beginning of the sample
is. Here it's always been on at about six o'clock on the clock face is the beginning
of the sample, always bring it back there. Also, learn the new technique of cutting the
entire sample in half with the fader. This motion can seem kind of awkward at first,
maybe you should even practice it just like that and then move it onto the record.
