RAY: Young people think we're all immortal and that we won't get hurt.
But, I mean, if the inevitable happens, it's always good
to have something that was a backup just in case.
I'm Ray Mizura. I'm 19 years old. Being in college for my first time,
I'm out by myself, no family with me.
And just knowing that if I ended up in the emergency room
having Blue Cross Blue Shield to watch over me
is a burden off of my shoulders.
I got an accident and I had to get stitches.
So I went to the emergency room.
And the process of using the Blue Cross Blue Shield card,
just showing them the card is much more efficient
and not having insurance. The young people should definitely
think about getting health insurance because you never
know when something can go wrong. From getting in a car
accident to the common cold, you can get your treatment right
then and there. Having a Blue Cross Blue Shield card in
the back of my wallet is kind of like a guardian angel,
just knowing that I can have help whenever I need it.
