Hi I'm Sunny and I'm a graduate student at the University of Florida and today I'm going
to show you how to make a fast, healthy, vegetarian dish in your apartment or dorm room.
So here I have some beautiful, oyster mushrooms, and I also have some bell peppers
of all different colors (that means that they have different vitamins in them)
and I also have some fresh broccoli.
Now, if you have a microwave in your dorm room, you can make something
out of this, kind of like a stir fry.
Just make sure that you wash everything before you start, especially the mushrooms.
So all you have to do is take the mushrooms and put some of those vegetables on top of it,
make it look very pretty, and then sprinkle some balsamic vinegrette dressing on it
to give it that great stir-fry flavor.
And then, just put it in the microwave for a few minutes.
You might want to cover it up so it won't explode or splatter all over the place.
Now if you do not have a microwave in your dorm room, you can still make a fast, healthy,
vegetarian meal starting with a bowl of lettuce.
And to the salad, you can add vegetables like the broccoli and peppers that I just showed you,
and if you want it to be a little more nutritious and have a little protein in it,
you can add things like walnuts or things with healthy fats in them like avocados.
I love avocados.
So, I doubt that the microwave stir-fry is done right now, but I'm going to show it
to you anyway, because if I made you watch it cook for another whole minute,
you would probably get bored and change the channel.
So here it is, so far.
I've actually made stir-fry's like this before and it's definitely very delicious
and I cannot wait to eat it when it's done, if it's done.
And, I didn't even use any meat.
