-My name is Craig Farrington.
And we are in Londonderry, New Hampshire.
Well, my business is a gourmet, deli sandwich shop.
We've been established year for six years.
And we focus on producing a product in house that's
homemade, healthy, fresh.
And I come in, I do all the administrative work.
I cook.
I slice.
I deliver food.
I take orders.
It's whatever needs to be done.
First, when I first opened, there
were lines of credit available to me.
Just dried up.
Became nonexistent.
And there was credit card advancing which is painful.
One day you might be paying back $550.
The next day you may be paying back $45.
You can't make that a line item on a budget.
CAN Capital seems to me to be a better alternative.
Well, I had to purchase some new equipment,
we're a fresh made restaurant.
If I can't slice my own meat, I can't live up
to my promise of what I'm doing.
Well, the first time I was actually approached,
it was probably a little more thorough than with the credit
card advanced companies which actually give me
a little more level of comfort.
I didn't want to be doing business
with somebody that wasn't taking care of their business.
Their underwriting wasn't overly strenuous.
They sent people into to document
that I had the equipment that I said I had,
that I had the business that I said I had.
So it's all up front.
It's not a surprise.
They make funds available now where other people wouldn't.
So when I dealt with CAN Capital, it was just more pleasant,
less expensive.
I've been in the corporate world all my life.
I like dealing with professional people.
-Can I have one of those big cups underneath there?
Thank you so much.
Appreciate it.
-You know I'm fortunate in the fact
that I have people that work for me that I like.
They seem to like me.
They don't go places.
You don't survive in this business
unless you're perseverant.
There is always something you can do about something.
If you are going to do it every day,
you are going to make it fun.
That's what we try to do.
