Hi! I'm Molly Herring with Expert Village. We're here showing you how to wash your jeans.
In this segment, we're going to talk about wash settings on your washing machine and
which to cover when you're washing your jeans. Jeans generally can be washed on a regular
fabric setting. Now, because all washers vary, you're going to kind of look at your washer
and see what the settings might be. Across the board, there's a regular fabric setting
on your washing machine. I've never really found any reason to set your washer on anything
else for jeans. In the different wash settings, you're going to see a list of numbers on here.
All those mean is the minutes it's going to take to get through the wash cycle. If you
have some jeans that don't have a lot of soil on them, you may not need to put them all
the way on the highest number setting. You might need to only put it halfway through.
You just might not need that long of a soak cycle on a rinse and all those things. Keep
in mind what these numbers mean. They mean how long it's going to take for the whole
setting to get done. That concludes setting your washer settings. In the next segment,
we're going to discuss drying your jeans.
