My name is Paul Volniansky and I am here on behalf of expertvillage.com and we are learning
about editing. So one of the rules that maybe you have heard it once it is called jump cut.
What does it mean jump cuts? I'm going to show you a short example of a jump cut .
A jump cut is actually not a good condition between two shots. When they combine shots
that are similar sizes, smallest, or when you video tape from the same place or run
the video tape from the same place wanting and suddenly we see something else or disappearing
this could be in a jump cut. So jump cutting could not be use without meaning but, today
actually many of the directors using the jump cut because they want to emphasize something,
because they want to break the rule. But, is not just because they want to break the
rule they have a idea behind it. So usually we don't use jump cuts.
