Welcome to my kitchen! I post a lot of the food that I make on Instagram and I get lots
and lots and lots of requests to share the recipes. Because it's like Valentine's season,
I'm going to start by sharing how I make these conversational cheesecakes.
The exact measurements and all of the details about all of the things you need are going
to be right down in the info box below. So we're just going to go ahead and get started.
Before you do anything else you are going to want to preheat your oven to 325 degrees.
You're only going to need about a tablespoon of crust in each of the heart cavities. If
you want to know exactly what I used to make my crust all of that information is down in
the info box below.
After you've pressed crust in the bottom of each of the cavities take your silicone pan
and put it in the refrigerator until we are ready to fill it up with cheesecake. After
you've mixed up your favorite cheesecake recipe we're going to divide it into five or six
bowls depending on how many different colors of food coloring you have.
Now this is the fun part you might have to use some of those colorization skills that
you learned in elementary school. You know yellow and blue make green, blue and red make
purple, just to get the colors that you want. My suggestion is that you start off with just
a couple of drops of each color and then add more to intensify the color. Because you can
always make the color darker but you can't make it lighter.
Now it's time to get that crust out of the refrigerator and fill each cavity with some
colored cheesecake. And if you're using the exact same kind of cavity that I'm using it
is perfectly ok to fill the cheesecake all the way up to the top.
You'll need to make sure that your cheesecake is completely frozen in order to get it out
of these cavities with ease.
You'll only need a couple of drops of red food coloring to use as paint to write the
sayings on your hearts.
And that is it y'all if you try this or any of my other recipes I would LOVE to see a
picture of it on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter and hashtag me with Nik Taught Me.
