Hi I'm Dr. Michael Walker from Hill Country Facial Plastic Surgery Center and on behalf
of expert village we'll be talking about s-lifts today. What is an s-lift? An s-lift is a form
of mini lift or a mini face lift that reduces the recovery time and the risk of the patient
from having a face lift. Why do they call it a s-lift? Well it's because the incision
resembles the letter "s." The incision starts by the sideburns goes in front of the ear
and then it goes back behind the earlobe about an inch resembling the letter "s." There's
now a large extended scar on the top of the sideburns in front of the ear then behind
the ear then back into the hairline. That's a classical face lift incision.
