Replacing a shower head is a quick and easy way to add a sense of luxury or style to your
bathroom. Today, we're going to show you how to replace a shower head.
The tools you'll need are: your New Shower Head, Pliers or an adjustable wrench, Plumber's
tape, a Towel in case there's any clean up. You may also need an extension arm to accommodate
the shape of your new shower head.
First, with the water off, unscrew the old shower head.
Next, if you're replacing the extension arm, now is the time to remove. We used a screwdriver
for leverage to remove the pipe.
Now wrap plumber's tape around both ends and screw in the new extension arm pipe.
With the arm installed, screw on the new shower head. Tighten with a wrench.
When you tighten with a wrench, place duct tape on both sides of the wrench to prevent
scratching on your new shower head.
Turn the water on to check for leaks, and enjoy.
We hope we were helpful today, and we welcome you to join us on our next project.
