We will need three size table trays.
If you don't have them, you could use cardboards instead
We will cover them with red crepe paper.
First of all: start measuring the size of all the trays.
Be sure to leave a little margin.
Put gloves on in order to protect your hands from the stains
caused by the wet crepe paper.
Mix the vinyl glue with some water,
then cover the tray's surface with the mixed glue.
Put the crepe paper on the tray
and press it to remove any bubble air from the surface.
Shed more glue on the paper.
Cover the other side of the tray.
Wait a couple of hours until the glue has dried.
In the meanwhile, take a can like this one.
Use a ruler to mark the half,
then draw a line connecting the dots.
Pick an hacksaw or similar and cut the can in halves.
Now we can cover it with the crepe paper.
Once it has dried, repeat the operation
because we want to fully hide the can graphics.
Now take the trays
and glue paper doilies on them.
Now that every piece is ready
we can build the stand using the hot glue.
We are now ready to create paper strips
using a die cutter to decorate them sideways
Put double-sided tape on the other side of the paper strip
We the glue the strips on the stand.
For the upcoming decoration
download the "Butterflies" set from my blog
Once you have cut them off
you could stick them on the stand.
I'm also using satin ribbons
Thanks for watching and good luck for your work!
